Please welcome another member of the GHGH 2010 team, Kelsey Hunsinger of Hotel Ändra! Kelsey is the hotel’s Sales & Marketing Manager – otherwise known as “dedicated group wedding sales manager and social media marketer extraordinaire!” Yeah, we knew that! Kelsey has been in hospitality for 7 years, with over 3 of those at the Ändra. This is Kelsey’s “first fabulous year” on the Procurement Team, finding swanky goods and services for the live and silent auctions at our big event!

Kelsey, what do you love about your work? What do I love about my work? Everything! I absolutely adore my brides (and grooms!) and working with them to make their time at the hotel not just an overnight stay but a fabulous experience. And I love geeking out on social media – for the hotel, and for myself!
What drew you to Get Hitched, Give Hope? Who wouldn’t want to be part of this amazing event?! I’ve attended the auction both years, and to be part of the team to make it happen is the highlight of my year.
How are you participating in the event? Hotel Ändra is donating a live auction item – a super sophisticated stay in our presidential Monarch Suite. This is the ultimate wedding night suite for the savvy bride & groom, especially as it features our exclusive Swedish Hastens bed – a $25,000 sleep experience and a perfect way to end a lovely wedding day.
What sets your business apart? Hotel Ändra is an urban destination, and often clients choose us because of our ideal midtown Seattle location – but they stay because of the warm service they receive from our staff, and from me. I’m there for my clients every step of the way, and it’s my goal to establish a personal relationship with every couple I work with! Nothing makes me happier than when the bride and groom return to the Ändra as Mr. & Mrs.!
