So by now, you must have heard!
Our event this year has a theme not to be matched!!!
You will walk into an ambiance of vintage carnival. Lots of bright reds, and old time whites and the feel of fun in the air.
When you look around and take it all in, give a quick nod in the direction of Danielle of Curtsy Bella. Because she is the genius behind all the decor.
Did you see the ad in the new Seattle Met Bride and Groom? Well, that elephant in the corner. That’s Danielle’s. He lives in her living room.
So you know, a girl who keeps a big elephant statue in her living room will know just how to bring the party to the party and make this an event no one is likely to forget!

What do you do for GHGH and how long have you been involved?
I have the amazingly fun duty of being responsible for event decor! This is my second year being a part of the Events Team.
What brought you to GHGH?
I attended GHGH three years ago as a Bride-To-Be, and was luckily the highest bidder on the divine Barbie Hull’s wedding day photography package. We became friends during the fun of my wedding, and when she asked Curtsy Bella to get involved the year after, we didn’t think twice! It was such a fun, glitzy & inspiring event to attend as a Bride-To-Be, & more importantly a wonderful concept & cause.
What is your favorite part of your experience with GHGH?
Definitely having the opportunity to work with the amazing people that dreamt up this wonderful event! Also, the incredibly rewarding feeling the day of…seeing everything come to fruition after a year of hard work from everyone involved, and knowing all that hard work will grant so many wishes.
You own ::Curtsy Bella. What drew you to your job? I am one of the owners of Curtsy Bella, a gift & celebration boutique. Without a doubt, we believe that celebrations & occasions to gather with friends & family make the world go round! No matter how busy someone’s life is or what the crazy economy is doing, we find that people will always find time to come together and toast to birthdays, babies, weddings, holidays, new jobs, graduations, new homes, retirements, and on & on. We love to be a part of those celebrations, whether it’s the perfect gift that is needed, favors to thank the guests, decorations that are more special & unique than big box stores, or just a card that will make someone laugh uncontrollably!
Do you have any insider secrets to tell our brides to make their planning / enjoying of their wedding easier? Check some items off that long list while attending Get Hitched Give Hope! Seriously…it’s money you will be spending anyways, and knowing that money will help grant wishes for terminally ill patients will not stress you out like other big wedding purchases tend to…it will help alleviate stress! 😉.
Are you married? And if you are, what was your favorite part of your wedding or what would you have done differently?
I am married…and there were too many favorites to count!! The shopping leading up to the wedding was most certainly a highlight! I also loved having suprises all throughout the day-of for my groom. My husband and I are lucky enough to both come from amazing families that supported us endlessly in making the event truly unique & ours. Most important to us was throwing an unforgettable fete celebrating bringing our families together, and we knew we had succeeded when almost all of our guests were still getting down on the dance floor by the time the clock struck midnight. I wouldn’t have changed much…maybe started two hours earlier because it felt like it was over in the blink of an eye! What color shoes do you plan to wear to this year’s event? Ooh too early to tell! More than likely, however, I will find 4 or 5 pairs that are beyond perfect for the occasion. Fingers crossed I can find one dress that will go with them all!;)
