This is also Get Hitched Give Hope’s Final event. Please join us for a group hug and to celebrate life and love while shopping for some awesome things for your wedding while giving back!

Here’s the low down: fabulous curated goods have been collected from some of the best, most stylish, Seattle wedding vendors & former couples and will be on sale for you on Sunday, April 8th! From vases and vintage books, to favor boxes and shepherd hooks, we’ve got the awesome stuff you’re looking for at great bargain prices. Best of all, everything goes to benefit the Get Hitched, Give Hope charities- Mary’s Place & Dream Foundation!

  • SUPER VIP – First to Shop + Bridal Salon + Bottomless Sips & Treats + Swag Bag (Event access at 11am, sale entry at 12pm)
    • Super VIP’s get access to the bridal salon for an hour of bottomless mimosa’s, a bloody mary bar, breakfast nibbles, and entry to the event for 15 minutes of crowd-free shopping. Two raffle tickets included for a chance to win some awesome items as well as a custom Swag Bag. Only 20 tickets available! Entry Donation: $100.00 or two for $150.00!
  • VIP – Early Entry to Shop + Bridal Salon + Sips & Treats (Event access at 11am, sale entry at 12:15pm)
    • Two drink tickets so you can enjoy a mimosa or bloody mary along with yummy nibbles in our bridal salon before you shop! One raffle ticket included for a chance to win some awesome items. Be among the first to shop with access to the sale at 12:15. Entry Donation: $40.00

A Final Toast to 10 years and Nearly A Million Dollars



Our goal of making a powerful difference and bringing our community together has been realized; our baby has grown. With a sparkly tear in our eye, we fondly remember Get HitchedGive Hope, as we’re officially closing after raising nearly a million dollars for charity over the last decade. Hope Chest at Axis on April 8th will be our final event.

While we celebrate the completion of GHGH these final months, congratulate each other on our new projects, and reminisce about all we’ve accomplished, let’s take a look back!

It was fall of 2007, and a handful of us were sitting at the local wine bar in Queen Anne. Our veins were coursing with creative inspiration and hearts were yearning with the need for community. We had no idea the magnitude of the journey we were about to embark on, but we knew that we were jazzed and ready to create something supremely awesome; something where everyone could feel welcome and do something greater as a team than what one single person could do by themselves. So, we brainstormed (oh did we ever!!), poured over articles and instructions into the wee hours of the morning, and filled out form after government form, making our baby who we lovingly (and tongue-tieingly) named Get HitchedGive Hope.

Fast forward to present day 2018, where we’ve had time to reflect on the last 11 years: time to celebrate, time to appreciate, and time to honor those who we’ve raised all of this money for.

We celebrate the skills that we’ve each acquired when we were challenged to make a volunteer-run non-profit organization actually work. We congratulate the businesses that have flourished while networking around their work in Get HitchedGive Hope. The friendships we’ve built while working together on teams are deeply cherished. We humbly recognize the sweat, tears (not kidding!), and volunteer work sprints into the wee hours of the morning, while our own businesses and families sat patiently by in support of something bigger than us, something more than just one.

We are ever-so-thankful for the resources given by hundreds of event industry partners, board members, and longest-standing team members year after year, many of whom have been with us since the beginning. The thankless jobs of hanging lights, editing imagery, keeping the music pumping, announcing the totals, inputting alllllll the data, and housing and staffing our events couldn’t have been done without a momentous amount of help from our friends. In fact, we’ve had so much support that we were able to create not one, but three events: our fancy-pants bridal auction and gala, a wedding-focused rummage sale called Hope Chest, and our just-for-funsies beer fest, Hope Brew. To say that our community is awesome is an understatement; it is full of philanthropic givers who will stop at nothing to make an event a screaming success. And they do it together.

But mostly, we will always remember meeting sparkling Sarah, whose last dream was to attend just one Broadway musical. We will reminisce talking late at night with Jim the romantic, who wanted a to take his wife to Hawaii to feel the sand and sea for the last time. We will always hold dear the memory of delivering an actual dream in person: to Lorri and Steve so they could go to the Oregon coast to fly kites, eat chocolates, and relive their honeymoon just one more time.

Our final bids have been placed, the final party has been thrown, and our parting GetHitchedGive Hope toast is this:

Your enthusiasm, drive, and generosity has made the last decade an unforgettable time in all of our lives, and we couldn’t have created such an amazing organization and without your support. 2017 // Custom Ceremony Backdrop by Juniper Flowers


First off we adore flowers! We source the freshest, local blooms whenever possible. We have an affinity for seasonal greens and rich saturated tones. We love pairing different textures together as well as using interesting color combinations. We have a large collection of rental vases and props that are available for couples to choose from. We look at all aspects of your venue from the floor to the ceiling and provide direction for how you can achieve your overall vibe through our floral artistry. Our team is well versed in ALL floral styles from modern, vintage, industrial, Asian-inspired, rustic, etc! We listen to your style inspirations and provide detailed descriptions, budget estimate, and sketches. All while having FUN! because…Flowers!!!


We give of our time and services to create human connections. It is truly inspirational in itself to show someone that they matter to you and to others in the world. I feel fortunate for the opportunities I have in my life and would like to help provide others with the same. Imagining the joy in a recipients’ heart is why we give.

Custom Ceremony Backdrop

We’ll work together to create a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. It may consist of fabric draping, hanging greenery garlands and/or flowers, decorative wall hanging, etc. There are numerous possibilities. Keep in mind this is also a great area to use as a photo backdrop during the reception. We’ll customize this item to your color palette and style, and coordinate with your overall decor.

2017 // Invitation Suite for 100 by The Paper Feather


I have a stationery shop in Pike Place Market called the paper feather. My business is unique because I design and hand produce everything in my shop! From the initial design sketch to printing and production, every item is handmade with love! Being a part of Pike Place Market is so special because people can see the production process while shopping for stationery and gifts. I can honestly say I love my job!!


I was inspired to participate in GHGH because I love being a part of our community and helping raise money for important charities. Helping others and meeting people are the most valuable parts of my job, and I am honored to be included!

We are family owned and operated for over 40 years. We specialize in Engagement rings and wedding bands and love that we are able to be a part of such an exciting time in in our clients lives. We offer bridal brands as well as custom that include an in house design team and onsite goldsmith.


We came across promoting for the event a few of years ago and were instantly drawn in after looking into it. It is a wonderful cause that we feel honored to be a part of. It is a magical night, in a beautiful venue for a fantastic cause. We’ve been participating for about five years now.
