At last year’s Get Hitched, Give Hope Brandie bid on–and won!–a nail party with manis and pedis for her and her mom and bridesmaids at Julep Nail Parlor downtown. It was so much fun. And it wasn’t just a fun afternoon with the girls–it was one that felt great, because the money spent on the day all went to the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation.
There was champagne and pampering and general fun…
And some awesome bright toe colors…
Just a few days later I had a blast photographing Brandie’s wedding…you can see how much fun she is…
Brandie treated me to a pedi–how sweet! That’s me with the orange toes…
What a great way to have fun…all while giving back. Thanks to Julep for the incredibly generous donation and thanks to Brandie, for helping us raise $30,000 last year!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock all year, you know about Get Hitched, Give Hope. If you don’t, it’s essentially THIS: A big party for brides and grooms where they can get good deals on fantastic products & services for their wedding by donating to a great cause. The money raised at the cocktail party-slash-auction is used to grant final wishes for Stage 4 breast cancer patients. Can you think of a better way to spend your Thursday night? I can’t!

Couture designer Anne Barge is gracefully donating a stunning bridal gown sample.
With help from expert bridal fashion stylist Liz Navarro of Gown Diva, you
will select one of five sample gowns best suited for your wedding! The sample
gowns are one size only and the measurements are as follows: Bust 35.5 Waist 27
Hip 38. (Please note the gowns can be altered down a size but not up a size).
Gown selection will need to be completed by Thursday, November 5, no exceptions. The Madina
Vadache veil and Grace Shoes must also be selected at the time of gown selection. Gown alterations
and cleaning are not included with auction item. Auction winner is responsible for gown
alterations.
